CELEBRATING SUCCESS
Sixth Form Government had reason to celebrate again this term when we got news of our second scholarship.
The first one went to Lucas Lee Kim who won an Additional Scholarship in Technology. He obtained grade I's in Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing, Physics, Mathematics and is now pursuing Engineering at the University of the West Indies. No sooner had we held our Celebration of Success for him that news came about the second scholarship.
This time Kalisha Steele who wrote exams in 2006, received a scholarship for Citizenship. What was that? It was a new incentive given by the Ministry of Education to students who not only performed well but were involved in the school community. Besides receiving good results, her school involvement was the winning factor.
The POLY community is proud of them and wishes them all the best for the future.
